Yewa South, formerly known as Egbado South, is a local government area in Ogun State, southwestern Nigeria. It is located in the southern part of the state, and is bordered by the Republic of Benin to the west and the Yewa North, Imeko-Afon, and Ipokia local government areas of Ogun State.

The major language spoken in the area is the Egba dialect of the Yoruba language.

Yewa South shares a border with the Republic of Benin, providing opportunities for cross-border trade and cultural exchange. This could be particularly appealing for those with an interest in international relations or business.
