With a meeting we had with this family, The Mongaji of the family explain to us the reason why they make attempts of selling this properties which explain as: The whole land of ojoo belong to their four father and due to government improvements and creation of road (old oyo road & express) the land was abandon without adequate security by the member of the family which leads to sale of part of the land by other people without the knowledge of the family member. A lot of appeal was raise by all member of the family which make all the family to make attempt of selling the remaining part of land.
After some years an agreement was made by family members to remain only four plots to an open place for future purpose, to short the story this remaining plot was latter claim by Akinyele Local Government which latter release to them after a lot of appeal in the court of law.
However, after the whole case with the local governments, in which the land ownership was release to them on the 20th of April 2017 in the HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE OYO STATE NIGERIA before His Lordship Honourable Justice ENI ESAN sitting at Court No 3. Ring Road Ibadan 20th March, 2017.
The whole family gave us go ahead to help them in looking for buyers to this properties so that they can use the money for other family needs and to sort some bill which they have spent in other to secure the land.
