Beyond the craze of having an office space all bright and beautiful, in the process of designing, it is expedient to consider designs capable of inspiring employees to be more productive. When an office space is smartly designed, it improves well-being and creativity, and on the long-run, boost productivity. The idea is to allow for brain reset and to take a few minutes off work.

You might be wondering if games won’t serve as a form of distraction for an employee, you will be surprised how it is capable of encouraging creativity too. Playing games can serve as a form of relaxation for various employees. They could just take some time during their break to engage in chaotic battles. Going back to their workstation leaves them recharged already. Games room can be designed with game themed wallpapers while you have a small console attached to a TV.

Collaboration Spaces

To enhance flexibility and interaction in the office environment, a collaboration space can do the magic. This helps to allow employees interact freely and get comfortable around each other. A lounge can be infused into an office space to allow employees to chat when they need to. It also helps to improve employee retention as it makes employees get comfortable around each other.

Library

A cubicle sheltered out with lots of books in it could inspire employees. A library can serve as a source of information while adding value to the employees. Libraries can be designed with each department in mind as books in the library should tend towards adding value as possible.

Garden

Research has shown that having a garden around an office space aid productivity. Plants are capable of brightening up spaces and reducing stress. Truly, plants can improve a person’s well-being and in a work environment, there will be reduction at the rate in which employees fall sick. Another benefit of having a garden is, they make a work space attractive.
