Otan Ile in Osun State. It is the fourth largest town in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State. It is said to have been founded by Prince Akindugba, one of the sons of Oduduwa, the progenitor of the Yoruba people. Otan Ile is a historical town with many important landmarks, including the Aafin (palace) of the Olotan (king), the Ile Arigbolori (sacred grove), and the Olujoda shrine. The town is also known for its participation in the Kiriji War, a major conflict between the Ijesha and the Oyo Empire in the 19th century.
