Ifako is one of the areas in Kosofe Local Government Area known to be densely populated and highly residential. A lot of small businesses can be found along major roads running through Ifako. One of the major roads in Ifako is Diya Street which connects Ifako to Oworonshoki. Different banks like Guaranty Trust Bank, FCMB, Zenith Bank, Diamond Bank can be seen in this area. Also, there is Williams Street which connects Diya Street to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Activities in Ifako are usually reduced almost all day, around the week except for the heavy traffic that plagues the Diya street in the evenings, especially on work days. What can be expected for people living here is good road connectivity, fairly stable light, and easy accessibility to different parts of Lagos. The Ayodele Okeowo Street gets very busy and populated due to its proximity to the Deeper Life Bible Church Headquarters, especially on Sundays or when a special program is holding.
