Esan North-East Local Government Area (LGA) is one of the eighteen LGAs in Edo State, Nigeria. It is located in the northeastern part of Edo State and has its headquarters in the town of Uromi.

The LGA is made up of several towns and villages, including Ewohimi, Emu, Igueben, Uzea, Ohordua, Urohi, Ekekhen, and Ujiogba, among others. The population of the LGA is predominantly made up of the Esan people, who are known for their rich cultural heritage.

The economy of Esan North-East LGA is mainly agrarian, with farming being the primary occupation of the people. The LGA is also home to several markets, including the Uromi main market, which is one of the largest markets in the region. Additionally, the LGA has several educational institutions, health centers, and other social amenities that serve the needs of its residents.
