Etsako Central LGA is a Local Government Area located in Edo State, Nigeria. The people of Etsako Central LGA are primarily of the Etsako ethnic group, which is one of the largest ethnic groups in Edo State. It has an area of 660 km2 and a population of 94,575 in the 2006 census. The Common language spoken in the area is the Afemai language while Islam and Christianity are mostly practised by majority of the people. The local government area is located in the Northern part of Edo State.
