Gokana is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Rivers State, Nigeria. It is located in the southeastern part of the state, and is bordered by the LGAs of Eleme to the east, Okrika to the south, and Tai to the west. The headquarters of Gokana LGA is the town of Kpor.

The population of Gokana LGA is estimated to be around 194,713 people. The majority of the people in Gokana are Ogoni, and speak the Gokana language. There are also a small number of Igbo and Ijaw people living in Gokana LGA.
