Udi LGA is one of the 17 LGAs in Enugu State, located in the southeastern part of Nigeria. It has a population of over 200,000 people, and its headquarters is in the town of Udi.

The LGA is predominantly occupied by the Igbo ethnic group and is known for its rich cultural heritage. Udi LGA is home to several tourist attractions, including the Udi Hills, which offer a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape, and the Ngwo Pine Forest, which is a popular spot for picnics and camping.
