Ajeromi-Ifelodun is a local government area located in Lagos State, Nigeria. It was created on October 1, 1976, and is named after two prominent towns within its boundaries, Ajeromi and Ifelodun. The local government area covers an area of about 12.4 square kilometers and is home to a population of over 800,000 people according to the 2006 census.

Despite its many attractions, Ajeromi-Ifelodun faces several challenges, including poor infrastructure, high crime rates, and inadequate healthcare facilities. The local government and the state government have been working to address these challenges and improve the standard of living in the area.
