Lagos is the greatest city there ever was. Lagos is the entertainment hub of Africa, with the hottest hang out spots and the wildest nightlife. Lagos, also called  Èkó in Yoruba, is a state in Nigeria, West Africa. The name Lagos which means ‘lakes’ originated from Portuguese settlements in the city. Lagos is surrounded by water. The former capital of Nigeria is the most populous city in the country and African continent. it has evolved over the years and is the fasted growing city in the world. Lagos has the highest GDP in the continent and one of the busiest ports in Africa.

Lekki Conservation Center
Lekki Conservation Center almost emerged from nowhere. It became must-see site a few years ago and has remained relevant ever since. If you ever want to feel like a real tourist in your own city, Lekki Conservation Center is the place to go. When in Lagos, it is almost mandatory to come here. The center is located on Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lekki Peninsula II. LCC boasts of the longest canopy walk in Africa. The canopy is 401m long. The beautiful place has a zoo filled with fascinating animals of all colours and sizes. You can also take a walk in the nature park and play a game of giant chess. Lekki Conservation Center is amazing for group getaways and picnics.

Nike Art Gallery
Nike Art Gallery is an art gallery in Lagos owned by Nike Davies-Okundaye. This gallery is arguably one of the largest of its kind in West Africa. The gallery is housed in a five-story building and boasts of about 8,000 diverse pieces from Nigerian artists. The beautiful gallery is a center for art and culture. Nike Davies-Okundaye can be described as the sweetest artistic heart. She is from a family of musicians and craftspeople, who specialised in the area of cloth weaving, adire making, indigo dying and leather. Nike Art Gallery is filled with refreshing and inspiring work. A day is not enough to tour this haven.

Concerts
Lagos is known to have the biggest concerts in Africa. Lagos is also the only place where you see round tables at concerts. Lagosians pay a good amount of money every holiday to watch the same people perform. During the holidays, it is possible to attend  4 concerts with the exact same artiste line-up. Concerts are social gatherings in Lagos, a place where to meet your friends, new friends and just scream at the top of your lungs. You may never really get the worth of your VIP ticket, but you pay for it still. The best thing about concerts in Lagos is that you don’t have to be at the venue to attend, you can watch from home on snapchat. Ilashe Private Beach
Ilashe Private Beach is what we are referring to when we say ‘Eko Miami’. Ilashe Private Beach is located in Ilashe, on the beach side of Eko river. Getting there only takes a short boat ride from the mainland. The beach is adorned with luxury beach houses, villas, pools and cabanas. With proper bookings, you can enjoy a fun day in the sun with your friends and family, any time of the year. It will only be great food and great vibes.

Club
Clubbing in Lagos is an olympic sport. In Lagos clubs, there is a clear preference for people who exhibit wealth or a certain status. For example, you cannot park your Toyota Camry where the  Mercedes are. At midnight another side of Lagos comes to life. The club is the place to meet guys and ladies you’d probably never see after that weekend or holiday, and just let loose. Drink to the death of your liver and dance till you can’t move anymore. Drinks in the club are outrageously expensive so if you don’t have ridiculous money to spend, the club is not for you. Restaurants
New restaurants are springing up everyday in Lagos, the majority are on the island. You can wine and dine all around the world in the city of Lagos. Restaurant touring is another way to let Lagos know you just got back because once you’ve lived in the country long enough, you would not eat out as much. Lagos is adorned with restaurants with the most aesthetically pleasing interior designs. They even make your Instagram location tag look good.
