The space in the living room is a major determinant in choosing the type of sofa to go for. A living area can appear smaller when it shares the same space with the dining table. To properly fit furniture into the living space, proper planning and arrangement have to be done.
Size
The size of the furniture is another thing to consider. If the living space is large, then it’s okay to go for whatever size you want. Otherwise, you have to take note of the sofa size so it can fit well into the space without leaving everywhere busy.
Visuals
Beyond the actual size of the sofa, pick ones that appear light. Some sofas, upon seeing them, already look heavy. Even if they are necessarily not taking more space, they give an impression that they are, hence making the living space appear crowded. Light-colour furniture or pieces with legs appear lighter than dark upholstered pieces. A glass table also seems to take less space compared to wooden tables.

Camel Back Sofa
Camel Back sofas have a classic design. It has a higher back in the centre which descends in a continuous line into the arms of the sofas. Another major feature is the wood legs which are usually exposed.
